Bilhaur
Bilhaur is a city and a municipal board in Kanpur Nagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is 40 km from Kanpur from east to west and 24 Km from Kannauj from west to east situated at bank of the River Ganges and GT Road of India present NH 91( Kanpur Gaziabad Highway) .
Bilhaur also had the a Rail Line from Kanpur Central to Farrukhabab and Delhi, this Rail line is in the list on India's oldest rail lines. The same is now changed to Broad gauge line to link Kanpur and Delhi ans Allahabad and Lucknow ( UP Capital).
In terms of Transportation Bilhaur is hyper-tech connected to all big cities in UP by all the possible ways.
The town has A good quality of living and also the citizens are aware about the rights and wrong. this data is quite old , and i am looking for a update in the same. As of 2001 India census, Bilhaur had a population of 18,056. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bilhaur has an average literacy rate of 53%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 56% and female literacy of 49%. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age. Most of the community living here is Brahmins and most of the population follows Hinduism here.

Sri Thakur Ji Maharaj Mahavidhyalaya PG college, This college was started in 2002, Focusing thee PG Education in the town and has its affiliations with CSJM University Kanpur Nagar. This college offers the PG in Arts and commerce as of now and further soon will also have science and Maths.
Bilhaur Inter College in in heart of the town and has the best quality of education in the town in all the streams.

Bilhaur original name was BILVA HARI but in local dialect it becomes Bilhaur later. The Isan river flows in through the areas of Bilhaur which helps in agriculture and husbandry of nearest villages. Madar Sharif is a pilgrimage situated at the bank of the Isan river.
